I needed this TV for a small room and it fit the space perfectly. However, when using the remote to change channels there is a delay. I have to wait about 5 seconds when I change the channel. Also there is a little glare on the screen when watching programs.

I bought this TV to use in my teardrop trailer so I can watch DVDs on rainy evenings when camping.
I hooked it up to my DVD player and put in a movie. Found out that a widescreen movie on this widescreen TV on Normal Mode (there are 4 modes: Normal, 16:9 Widescreen, 4:3, and Cinema) DOES NOT fill the screen. There is @1.5-inch black border on the top and bottom, and @2-inch black border on each side. So essentially, this 15.6-inch screen TV is an 11-inch screen TV. 4:3 Mode looked exactly the same as Normal Mode. Widescreen Mode stretched everything to the sides but still had @1-inch black border top and bottom, Cinema Mode is useless as probably at least a quarter of the image is lost all around.
I called Coby and spoke with someone who advised me that the way to fix this is to buy fullscreen DVD’s and play them on Widescreen Mode. Huh??? Isn’t this a widescreen TV?? Shouldn’t I be able to buy widescreen DVD’s to play on my widescreen TV and it will fill the whole screen?? When we watch DVD’s at home on the 32-inch Sanyo, the movies fill the screen. Why not this one?
I’d like to return this but I didn’t hook it up for a while, so it’s probably been too long. Not sure how this works on cable because I don’t have cable here at my shop.
I also sent feedback through the Coby website. Got no response from them. Should have bought a more reputable brand, I guess.

Got this to replace a dead 3yr old Sharp 13in we have in the kitchen. The Coby is great for the price. Picture quality is very good with HD broadcast. Tuner is very sensitive and captures a lot more channels than I expected without a cable box attached. The viewing angle is moderate, but come on, this set is inexpensive and should not be judged by High End standards.
Sound quality is what you’d expect for a set this size. Not bad, not great.
Controls are well laid out on the remote. Fav channel button is handy. All around a good buy for under $125!

This is a solid product (keeping the price in mind). I bought this tv to use with my PS3. At first I was disappointed with the way it look (was using the original rca cables), but once I plugged in the HDMI cable everything was pretty clear. I would recommend this tv to anyone who is looking for a cheap product that with still perform

I got this TV to use it in my home office next to my PC but the was a problem, I was having a sound delay between the signal I was getting from the cable and antenna (Yes I did try both)…
The remote control is great and the TV show great quality but the sound problem forced me to return it and then I got the one below!
